2023 Legislative Briefing & Reception Sponsorship
The Mental Health Association of Maryland’s Legislative Briefing and Reception is the only event of its kind—bringing together hundreds of behavioral health professionals, business and nonprofit leaders, concerned citizens, and legislators to unify as a community during the state’s annual legislative session and learn about public policy issues that will impact Marylanders’ mental wellbeing.
This year, we are thrilled to be back in person, with a brand-new state legislature and our first new gubernatorial administration in eight years, for our 2023 Legislative Briefing and Reception in Annapolis on the evening of February 15th. The battle for access to mental health and substance use services plays out in our legislature and the need has never been greater. We cannot afford to miss this opportunity for systems-wide change and our success depends on the generosity of organizations and citizens like you. Please consider helping our advocacy work during this critical time by sponsoring the 2023 Legislative Briefing and Reception.
Sponsors must commit by February 1 to be included in print materials.
Organizational Support Levels
Raven — $20,000
- Be acknowledged in printed event program and on event signage as appropriate.
- Display your promotional materials in the reception area during the event.
- Be acknowledged and linked to on MHAMD’s website, email, and tagged through MHAMD’s social media channels.
- Raven sponsors may request up to 10 reception tickets.
Baltimore Oriole — $10,000
- Be acknowledged in printed event program and on event signage as appropriate.
- Be acknowledged and linked to on MHAMD’s website, email, and tagged through MHAMD’s social media channels.
- Oriole sponsors may request up to 8 reception tickets.
Ruby-throated Hummingbird — $5,000
- Be acknowledged in printed event program and on event signage as appropriate.
- Be acknowledged on MHAMD’s emails.
- Hummingbird patrons may request up to 6 reception tickets.
Northern Mockingbird — $2,500
- Be acknowledged in printed event program and on event signage as appropriate.
- Mockingbird patrons may request up to 4 reception tickets.
Pileated Woodpecker — $1,000
- Be acknowledged in printed event program and on event signage as appropriate.
- Woodpecker patrons may request up to 2 reception tickets.
Individual Support Levels

Individual Sponsor – $250
- Be acknowledged in printed event program if purchased by February 1, 2023.
Individual Patron – $150
- Be acknowledged in printed event program if purchased by February 1, 2023.
